The N&G Group has always been at the forefront in terms of obtaining, managing, providing legal protection and economic valorisation of all intellectual property rights.
Over the years, the N&G Group has acquired extensive experience in all areas of intellectual property, offering its clients an increasingly wide range of services, ranging from filing and obtaining patents, trademarks and designs in all countries of the world to legal, contractual and commercial assistance, including training, search and opinions on intellectual property matters.
Today, the N&G Group consists of three companies:
- Notarbartolo & Gervasi for filing, management and search services for patents, trademarks and designs.
- N&G Legal for legal protection services and out-of-court and contractual assistance.
- N&G Consulting for technology transfer, licensing and economic valorisation services.
2022
N&G Legal expands and becomes a partnership between lawyers and Notarbartolo & Gervasi.
2020
N&G Group moves its headquarters to the modern WJC building in Milan.
2016
N&G Legal was nominated emerging firm of the year.
2009
N&G Legal is established, specializing in intellectual property law, competition law, civil and commercial law.
2003
The certification is adapted to the UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 regulations, the international activity expands, and the network of counsels becomes increasingly widespread, allowing the professionals of Notarbartolo & Gervasi to have an expert local counsel in almost all countries of the world.
2002
Notarbartolo & Gervasi GmbH was established with offices in Munich to ensure closer contacts with the European Patents Office.
1997
Notarbartolo & Gervasi becomes a joint-stock company, while maintaining its original connotation, namely the constant growth of the volume of work, the range of services and the quality that it has always guaranteed to customers. In the same year, the professionalism and organization of Notarbartolo & Gervasi were widely recognized by obtaining the Quality System Certificate according to the strict UNI EN ISO 9002 regulations, issued by Det Norske Veritas, one of the main international certification bodies.
1988
In addition to creating the N&G Consulting company, confirming its constant development on the national territory, Notarbartolo & Gervasi opens offices in Florence and Rome to offer closer and more immediate professional services to customers in all Italian regions, thanks also to the proximity to the Central Patent Office of Rome, now Italian Patent and Trademark Office (UIBM).
1984
Notarbartolo & Gervasi activates a documentation and search centre with online access to all international databases to offer the most up-to-date, complete and reliable search and surveillance services and for the supply of technical and scientific documentation.
1983
Due to the increasing interest in this industrial field, a division specialized in licensing and technology transfer is created, which in 1988 would become an autonomous company, namely N&G Consulting.
1963
Notarbartolo & Gervasi is founded in Milan as a professional firm, on the initiative of Gemma Gervasi and Manfredi Notarbartolo di Villarosa, after both had acquired long experience in the patent and licensing office of Montecatini, which at the time was the largest Italian industry in the chemical sector.
